Our Nutritionist, Celine Glasier, shares her favorite cleansing herbal tonic drink that will help you heal and detox your body throughout the day. Try replacing your morning coffee with this detox herbal tonic for an extra boost of energy.

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole lemon
  • 2 teaspoons of turmeric
  • Grated fresh ginger (a micro plane grater works bet)
  • A small pinch of cayenne

Mix ingredients into a paste and add to warm water.

These ingredients support proper digestion, lymphatic detoxification, boost immunity and can help with common allergy symptoms. Ginger is great when experiencing bloating, gas or nausea and lemon is full of Vitamin C and potassium. Turmeric reduces inflammation, while cayenne pepper, increases circulation in, the lymphatic and digestive systems. Cayenne can also help with allergy symptoms by breaking up mucous.
